About the role
The Patient Care Specialist supports patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse, handling clerical tasks, inventory management, and patient care duties.
Responsibilities
- Supports unit operations under the direction of the registered nurse
- Facilitates clerical work, stocking, ordering, and transporting
- Assumes responsibility for specified patient care duties
- Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Vocational/Technical School/Diploma
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License required
