About the role
The Restorative CNA plays an important role within the organization by serving as an internal liaison within our clinical teams. This role involves implementing and maintaining resident restorative programming while ensuring resident safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provides treatments to meet the holistic needs of residents per care plan.
- Documents and communicates resident progress to fellow team members.
- Provides caregiver education based on identified learning needs.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team regarding resident admissions and discharges.
Requirements
- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant Registry or appropriate entity.
- Long Term care experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of long-term care practices and regulations.
