About the role

As our Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at CHI Williston Health, you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record vital signs
• Perform CPR
• Apply oxygen delivery systems
• Perform simple wound irrigation, direct pressure, and dressings
• Prepare sterile field for suturing
• Assist provider with treatment when appropriate
• Apply restraints
• Clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization
• Collect urine specimens and perform phlebotomy
• Assist in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needs
• Assist with patient transports and transfers
• Answer telephones, file, greet patients/visitors, transcribe provider’s orders, perform electronic data entry, and assist with documentation
• Assist with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
• Practice safe work habits, comply with safety rules and regulations, and adhere to safety policies

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification in North Dakota, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification, within 30 days

Pay

$16.50 - $23.30 /hour

$3,000 Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
