CNA LTC - Full Time Night

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care, supporting activities of daily living and ensuring comfort and safety. They adhere to facility policies, complete required training, and support the organization’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and ADLs within scope of practice.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and other health indicators accurately and promptly.
• Ensure residents are clean, dry, and comfortable, reporting any concerns to supervising staff.
• Complete all documentation adhering to state and organizational standards.
• Perform custodial, housekeeping, food service, and wheelchair escort duties as needed.
• Assist with feeding residents when necessary and participate in care planning discussions.
• Maintain safety standards, workplace conduct, and handle stress effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED; relevant certification required (MO CNA, KS CNA, or Home Health Aide).
• Current CPR certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to read, interpret documents, communicate effectively, and perform basic math.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions.

Work Conditions & Demands

The role involves working in indoor environments, exposure to infectious diseases, and occasional outdoor exposure. The CNA may need to drive between locations and assist in emergencies. Physical demands include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and maintaining balance and coordination.
