About the Role
The Restorative Nursing Assistant provides residents with rehabilitative activities based on treatment plans developed by therapists. They support patient recovery by implementing Range of Motion (ROM) exercises and other restorative care interventions. The role requires collaboration with healthcare team members to promote residents' well-being and functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with restorative and rehabilitative activities as prescribed.
- Implement treatment and ROM plans following therapist instructions.
- Support resident mobility, strength, and independence efforts.
- Document care provided and monitor resident responses.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course.
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Preferred: 6 months experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or caregiver.
Pay
$21.05 - $31.54 per hour
