CNA-I (Formerly GNA)

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Aid residents with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Offer supportive care and services to meet residents' physical, emotional, and daily living needs.
• Monitor residents and promptly report any changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment conducive to dignity, safety, and well-being.
• Support the nursing team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Hold an active CNA-I (formerly GNA) and CNA-II certification in the state of employment.
• Have a valid Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification.
• Be able to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Show strong communication skills, including the ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
• Show demonstrated compassion, reliability, and commitment to providing quality resident care.
