Job Summary

Mountain City Rehab Center, a 99-bed skilled nursing facility in Frostburg, Maryland, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA-1) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding) - Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators - Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to nursing staff - Support residents' emotional and social well-being with kindness and respect - Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver individualized care - Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives - Be sensitive to residents' families and respond in an appropriate professional way as the situation requires - Keep residents' bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy - Answer call lights promptly

Qualifications

- CNA-1 in Maryland - Previous experience in long-term or skilled nursing care preferred - A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and vulnerable populations - Strong communication and teamwork skills
