CNA (Hospital)- Fulltime 6a-6:30p $17.57-$22.91 per hour (Eligible for shift differentials from $3.00-$5.00 per hour)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated certified nurse assistant to join our team at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center. The position involves providing direct patient care for our hospital and extended care unit patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as defined by the resident care plan for all hospital and extended care unit residents.
• Participates in admitting and discharging patients.
• Documents care provided through established electronic health record.
• Encourages and assists patients/residents to be as independent as possible.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Certification with accredited training course through the State of Colorado for Certified Nurse Assistant.
• Previous work experience is preferred.
• Previous experience with geriatric preferred.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of relevant nursing care.
• Friendly and professional bedside manner.
• Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, other agencies, employees and administration.

Pay

Pay Range: $17.97-$22.91 per hour based on experience and qualifications (eligible for shift differentials).

• Weekday Nights - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $3.00 per hour
• Weekend Days - Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm - $3.50 per hour
• Weekend Nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $5.00 per hour
