Nature of Work
Under the supervision of the School Health Nurse, this position manages the activities of the school health room. Duties include first aid and administration of medication as delegated by the school nurse. Responsibilities may include a variety of health tasks and clerical work in assisting students with health-related needs. Involves lifting, positioning, transferring and aiding in bodily functions as needed.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
- Current Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Nursing Assistant Certificate or Geriatric Nursing Certification
- Successfully complete the MBON-approved School Health Certified Medication Technician training programs provided by the Anne Arundel County Department of Health
- Driver’s License required
