Job Summary
Nebraska Medicine is seeking a CNA to join their Internal Medicine team at the Grand Island Internal Medicine Clinic in Grand Island, NE. The CNA will assist with basic patient care tasks including monitoring vital signs, aiding with daily activities, and ensuring patient comfort.

8AM - 5PM
No Weekends, Holiday, or Call Required

Job Duties
CNA Support the nursing care of patients by performing duties according to standards and policies. Promote efficient operation of the clinic and provide assistance to physicians and support staff.
Required Qualifications
- CNA
- High school education or equivalent required.
- 40-hour Medication Aide Registry course
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (BLS with skills assessment or approved BLS)
- Passing score on DHHS state written and skills exams
- Active on Medication Aid Registry listing or completed within first 12 months of hire or transfer date and maintained thereafter required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of all patient care equipment and supplies, policy, procedure, and protocol manuals, audio-visual, video, and microscopic equipment, computers, telecommunication equipment, and wall/ceiling and tanked medical gases preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish may be preferred.
