Givens Estates Health Care Center in Asheville, NC, is a senior housing organization with a lot of heart, committed to providing housing to seniors of all socioeconomic backgrounds across Western North Carolina for more than 40 years. We already have five communities (three life plan communities and two affordable communities) with plans for many more in the coming years.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses in the care of residents
• Transfer and transport residents
• Assist with feeding
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Use of gait belt and proper body mechanics

Requirements

• Active listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I (CNA) Registry
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire

Pay

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience, plus shift differential pay and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Full-time Day Shift, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with every other weekend required. We collaborate with you to offer flexible scheduling where possible to support a healthy work-life balance.
