About the role
The Field Supervisor is responsible for field operations and supervision of the implementation of care and treatment plans, therapeutic activities for individuals as directed by licensed practitioners. Participates in the development of treatment plans, program functions, policies, and procedures. Responsible for the supervision of assigned caregivers (CNAs, PCAs, and HHAs) to assure performance of tasks, functions, and responsibilities necessary to provide appropriate individual care plans and active treatment in a clean, safe, and secure environment, in accordance with federal, state, and unit policies and procedures. Provides supervision, counseling, and evaluation of caregivers (CNAs, PCAs, DCWs, and HHAs) on assigned cases.
Responsibilities
- Supervise field operations and implementation of care and treatment plans.
- Oversee therapeutic activities for individuals as directed by licensed practitioners.
- Participate in the development of treatment plans, program functions, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise, counsel, and evaluate assigned caregivers (CNAs, PCAs, DCWs, and HHAs).
- Ensure appropriate individual care plans and active treatment in a clean, safe, and secure environment.
Requirements
- 1 full year of caregiving experience required.
- Home Health Aide training, Adult Residential License, or CNA license required.
- Valid Driver’s License (Required).
- CNA Certification (Required).
- Display tact, good judgment, interest in people, and maturity in dealing with the frail, ill population.
- Demonstrate flexibility, cooperation, and dependability in fulfilling responsibilities.
