This position provides basic nursing care to clients under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse. Individuals must work cooperatively with members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team and in accordance with the established guidelines and procedures of St. Joseph's Hospital. Reports to Nursing Supervisor/Charge Nurse. Functions according to the standards of the profession.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic nursing care to clients under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse.
  • Work cooperatively with members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Adhere to established guidelines and procedures of St. Joseph's Hospital.
  • Function according to the standards of the nursing profession.

Requirements

  • Coursework/Training and completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant course.
  • Alternatively, may be presently enrolled in an approved course and perform skills successfully checked off in the clinical setting by the course instructor.
  • Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of NAC experience (preferred).

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The pay range is $17.40 - $26.38 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
