CNA/Dietary Aide - Lakewood Ranch

About the role

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health in beautiful Southwest Florida, is seeking a CNA/Dietary Aide to work in Lakewood Ranch on a full-time basis. The schedule is 8am - 6pm, alternating between Sun/Wed/Thurs/Fri and Mon/Tues/Sat.

Responsibilities

• Food purchasing and storage
• Meal preparation
• Meal delivery
• Maintenance of a sanitary kitchen environment
• Meeting the dietary goals and preferences of terminal patients
• Purchase, store, and prepare meals in a sanitary manner, on a timely basis
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and dietary department area
• Providing clinical services to meet the care needs of patients in the Hospice House as directed by the Registered Nurse

Requirements

• Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• One year of recent experience within a healthcare environment, preferably in a hospice or acute-care setting (preferred)
• Previous dietary experience preferred

Qualifications

Applicants must have Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
