Dietary Aide FT

About the role

The Alps at Wayne Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking caring, dependable, and hardworking Dietary Aides to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary, health, dental, vision, and other benefits, along with paid time off and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas and assist with meal service
• Deliver meals and beverages to residents promptly and accurately
• Assist residents during mealtimes as needed
• Follow resident diet orders and portion guidelines
• Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized dining environment
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Work closely with the dietary team to provide an excellent dining experience

Requirements

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare experience is a plus, but training will be provided to motivated candidates

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
• First aid/CPR certification (if applicable)

Pay

• $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• 6 AM to 2 PM
• Every other weekend required
