The Lodge at Jasper is seeking Dietary Aides to join their team!

Shifts Details

• Mon-Fri ; every other weekend required

Purpose

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION
• Dietary Aide - Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• Dietary Aide - Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
• SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Dietary Aide - Understanding of infection control procedures
• Dietary Aide - Demonstrate the ability to Multi task and Manage Stress
• Dietary Aide - Competent in time management / organizational skills
• Dietary Aide - Understands and embraces the assisted living philosophy
• Dietary Aide - Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available for our customers at peak service delivery days and times
• Dietary Aide - Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Dietary Aide - Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
