CNA - Day Shift, Full-Time

Role Overview

Provide in-home care services as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), supporting patients with daily living activities and personal care. Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and offering companionship to promote patient well-being.

Key Duties

• Deliver direct patient care following the established care plan.
• Assist with hygiene, mobility, and prescribed exercises.
• Prepare meals considering dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain accurate documentation and record changes in patient conditions.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and adherence to agency protocols.
• Use electronic charting and EVV systems for task completion.
• Participate as a team member to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current CNA certification and maintenance of DFS certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication, reliability, and dependability.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pass background checks, drug tests, and TB screening.
• Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and environments.

Additional Details

• No medication administration; focus on supportive, non-medical care within the patient's residence.
