CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant - FT Evenings
Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care (LTC). Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan. Considered a member of the nursing team and is expected to know, and will be held accountable for, following infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
- CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.

Pay
$19.00 - $25.50 per hour, depending on experience. $5,000 sign on bonus available!
Department Details
Eligible for $5,000 sign on bonus! Evening shift: 2pm - 10:30pm Every other weekend and holiday rotation. This position will work 72 hours per pay period/32 hours one week, 40 hours the next.
