CNA Certified Nursing Assistant (DAY SHIFT)

About the role

Masonicare Health Center is a 260-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Wallingford, CT. This position involves performing basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities

• Follows treatment plans designed to meet the appropriate age, needs, and abilities of each resident/patient.
• Assists with meals and nourishment.
• Transfers using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices.
• Ambulates residents/patients safely.
• Bathes, toilets, and dresses/grooms residents/patients.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut certification as a nurse's aide (C.N.A.).
• CPR certification.

Must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
