About the role

Experience Alabama CNA Certification Long term care, skilled nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic patient care including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist patients with mobility and transfers
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to supervising staff
  • Administer medications as directed by a physician or nurse
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely
  • Ensure patient rooms are clean and comfortable
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from a state-approved program
  • Current CPR certification

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts

Starting at $14 / hour
