CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

Work Hours: Dayshift and Nightshift
Job Type: Full Time, Part Time or PRN available
Experience: Long term care, skilled nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor residents’ health and report any changes to healthcare providers
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care plans
• Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness
• Document resident care activities and progress in medical records

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations
• Basic computer skills for accessing patient records and other systems

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of long-term care principles and practices
• Ability to follow procedures and policies
• Good organizational skills
