CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

Experience Alabama CNA Certification. Long term care, skilled nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including feeding, bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with medication administration under supervision
• Monitor patient health status and report changes to healthcare providers
• Ensure patient comfort and safety
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

Requirements

• Current Alabama CNA certification
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN or evidence of current RN license
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures

Starting at $14 / hour

Schedule

• 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts available
