Responsibilities
- Observes and records patient information pertinent to the treatment plan, and reports this information to the staff RN and other members of the treatment team.
- Maintains safety checks and assessments of the individual patients and the Behavioral Health environment.
- Affords assistance to patients with physical and emotional needs, handles patient emergencies, and functions as a member of a clinical team.
- Engages in hands-on patient care including: physical care related to activities of daily living, emotional support, limit setting, verbal and physical redirection, nutritional support, and support of the general patient milieu.
Qualifications
- High School or GED.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Idaho.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Two years of education in the behavioral health sciences or experience in the behavioral health field.
Pay
Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Night shift, full-time schedule.
