About the role

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Nursing Assistant to work at Deerfield located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield offers a variety of living options including independent living apartments, patio homes, assisted living, residential care apartment homes, and skilled nursing suites.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in various resident care activities and services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents including bathing.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas.
• Assisting residents with meal preparation and serving meals.
• Assisting residents with medication management and administration.
• Assisting residents with personal hygiene and grooming needs.
• Assisting residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Reporting any resident concerns to supervisors immediately.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Aide/Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Active member in good standing on the applicable state registry for CNA.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Medication Manager Certification may be required to be obtained within 60 days of employment.

Pay

This position pays up to $21.44/hour, with pay based upon experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Schedule

The Full time schedule is Monday through Friday Evenings 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with rotating holidays and weekends.
