CNA - All shifts, Per Diem $3,000 sign-on bonus

Brief Description

Piper Shores is Maine’s premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing Care. C.N.A.s serve in a top-rated 40-bed Skilled Nursing facility that is nationally recognized by CMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, socializing, and enjoying a meal.
• Respond to calls for assistance; elevate care to RN or LPN as needed.
• Aid with bed and linen changes.
• Might assist with 2-person or Hoyer bed lifts.
• Encourage participation in events and activities.
• Utilize specialized training to communicate with residents experiencing dementia.
• Serve as a warm and friendly companion to residents within all levels of care.

Qualifications

• Maine C.N.A. certification required.
• Piper Shores will sponsor a training program for candidates without a current certification.
• Experience working with a senior population preferred; training provided to entry-level candidates.
• Warm and friendly demeanor with a positive approach to interacting with seniors and co-workers.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds independently required.

$3000 sign-on bonus for all full-time roles.

Schedule

Available shifts include Monday-Friday 6a-2p, Monday-Friday 2p-10p, and Monday-Friday 10p-6a. Per diem shifts are also available.
