Cmt Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct field tests, observations, and inspections of construction materials.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, contractor representatives, and other relevant parties regarding construction site activities, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection results.
• Transport material samples, along with associated documentation, to the laboratory for further testing and analysis.
• Compile, prepare, and submit data and observations in written and digital reports for daily transmittal to the Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Assist with scheduling and dispatching technicians to project sites as needed.
• Adhere to strict safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to accurately document and report findings.
• Ability to maintain and operate testing equipment and vehicles.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Experience with ACI, concrete testing, concrete inspection, and construction materials testing.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma.
• Six months of related experience.
• Obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Successful completion of related internal safety certifications.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history.
• Knowledge of nuclear density gauge and familiarity with Troxler and NICET certifications.

Work Environment

• This position requires 100% travel with a rotating schedule of three weeks on and one week off.
• Work sites are large and high-profile, located across Northwest Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
• The role demands a 60-hour workweek consistently.
• Technicians are expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to strict safety protocols at all times.

Pay and Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
