CMT Project Manager

What You'll Do

• Manage and coordinate construction materials testing projects from initiation through completion
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal project teams
• Schedule and coordinate field technicians, inspectors, and laboratory resources
• Maintain project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
• Review project data, reports, and documentation for quality and accuracy
• Support proposal development, project planning, and resource forecasting
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, client satisfaction, and project outcomes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Experience: For non-degreed candidates, 4–7 years of construction materials testing (CMT) and inspection experience
• Certifications: Certifications in relevant testing or inspection areas (e.g., ACI, ICC, ATTI, Nuclear Safety) preferred
• Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of construction materials testing standards (ASTM, AASHTO, etc.) and the ability to interpret and apply technical specifications and project requirements
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management or data reporting systems
