CMT- Certified Med Technician

Rosewood Rehab & Healthcare is seeking a CMT- Certified Medication Technician to join their clinical team. This position offers a flexible schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

• Provide exceptional, personalized care to support seniors in their activities of daily living.
• Create a safe environment where residents can thrive.
• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to residents and maintain related medical records under the supervision of the RN and/or LPN.
• Maintain medical records and written documentation assuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with federal and state regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards.
• Transport assigned residents to and from appropriate dining areas. Feed or assist any resident as needed.
• Make frequent rounds and check on residents.
• Supervise nurse’s aides, making sure they are assisting and caring for residents appropriately.
• Aid CNA staff with direct resident care when necessary. Follow-up to ensure correction of any problems found.

What You'll Bring

• A current Missouri- MO CMT- Certified Med Tech Certification
• Experience in providing exceptional, personalized care to support seniors in their activities of daily living.
• Ability to create a safe environment where residents can thrive.
• Knowledge of administering and/or assisting with self-administration of prescribed medication.
• Skills in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
• Experience transporting residents and feeding/assisting them.
• Ability to make frequent rounds and check on residents.
