CMMS Spare Parts Supervisor
About the role
The CMMS Spare Parts Supervisor assists the Site Manager, overseeing CMMS and spare parts operations, inventory control, supplier relationships, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day CMMS and spare parts operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee spare parts inventory control, including cycle counts, stock levels, and replenishment.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, both internal and external.
- Maintain stock at required levels as specified by original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
- Effectively record and analyze movement of parts.
- Sources quality parts and negotiates best rates.
- Establish, maintain, and ensure application of CMMS procedures regarding maintenance and inventory control.
- Manages and troubleshoots faults with the CMMS.
- Ensures system, software, and reports are accurate and provide sufficient information.
- Daily coordination with operational and maintenance staff regarding CMMS activities.
- Provides training to operational and maintenance users of the CMMS.
- Maintains accurate record of parts under warranty and details of faulty parts.
- Designs and creates reports and other reporting tools used in work order and inventory analysis graphs.
- Acts as the interface between BEUMER and other airport stakeholders regarding maintenance, purchasing, and inventory control.
- Carries out other assignments as requested by management or Shift Supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience working with a CMMS and Spare Parts management.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain airside security clearance.
- Relevant system and product knowledge in the areas of warranty, tool inventory, and spare parts.
- Maximo proficiency.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to get along well with diverse personalities, while in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail, process development, and organizational management.
- Strategy insight and comprehension of BEUMER values.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- MS Office proficiency; Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
- Willingness and ability to follow all safety policies, processes, and procedures at all times.
Pay Rate
$22.88 per hour
Work Environment
Operates in a fast-paced airport setting with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and variable temperatures. Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotating shift schedule. Frequent walking, climbing, bending, heavy lifting, and standing across large terminal and baggage areas.
