CMM Programmer/Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and document automated metrology programs following best-practice standards and inspection plan requirements.
- Maintain the accuracy, availability, and revision control for all created programs.
- Resolve issues related to inspection, data collection, and documentation that impact quality and operations.
- Create advanced-level CMM programs for complex metrology requirements.
- Provide expert troubleshooting support for metrology and manufacturing-related challenges.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives in metrology processes.
- Cookordination and integration of new metrology software and hardware solutions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma (required).
- Advanced CMM programming training (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience programming on a major CMM platform (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment, preferably within QS-9000, ISO-9000, ISO/IEC 17025, or similar standards (preferred).
- Advanced GD&T training (preferred).
- 5+ years in a precision metrology setting (preferred).
