CMM Programmer
Job Details
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing CMM Programs per customer specs and evaluating the quality of product throughout the manufacturing process prior to shipping.
- Inspecting and approving pieces in casting and machining (including a complete layout each time a machining center is set up for production)
- Inspecting and casting defects, workmanship, cleanliness, and packaging of products prior to shipment
- Creating certificates of conformance, material certificates, RoHs certificates, and other test reports required to ship with production orders
- Performing internal ISO audits and resolving any problems found
- Programming, running, and maintaining CMM
Requirements
Qualified candidates will offer:
- Bachelor's in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
- 4yrs+ experience in CMM Programming
- Experience with Roamer and Zeiss equipment
- Ability to operate CMM and read CMM reports
- Experience with PC-DMIS software
- Outstanding analytical and mechanical skills; strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with Six Sigma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - at all levels of the manufacturing environment and with customers
- Great energy, reliability, and team work - work ethic
