CMM Programmer

Pay: Weekly & Competitive Pay + Shift Differential + Day 1 Benefits & 401K Shift(s) Available 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime | Available We're seeking a detail-driven CMM Quality Inspector to join our growing aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you'll inspect precision-machined aerospace components using CMMs, vision systems, and manual inspection equipment to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and industry quality standards. Key Responsibilities CMM & Inspection Activities Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for in-process, first article, first piece, and final inspectionsPerform dimensional and visual inspections on machined metal, plastic, and aerospace componentsUtilize inspection equipment including:CMMsVision Inspection SystemsMicrometersCalipersHeight GaugesGauge PinsVerniersFixtures and hand gauging equipmentComplete close-tolerance inspections using GD&T principlesInterpret customer drawings, 3D models, specifications, and engineering documentation Quality Documentation & Reporting Maintain inspection records and quality documentationComplete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) as requiredDocument inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actionsComplete production routers, inspection methods sheets, and certification reviewsEnsure all documentation is accurate and audit-ready Quality Assurance & Team Collaboration Identify nonconforming products and support root cause investigationsPartner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve issuesAssist with inspection planning, engineering markups, and inspection strategiesEnsure compliance with customer requirements and aerospace quality standardsMeet quality and productivity expectations while maintaining attention to detail What You’ll Bring Knowledge & Experience 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing inspection, metrology, or CMM inspectionAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsExperience using precision measuring instrumentsBasic understanding of GD&TStrong computer skills and comfort working with inspection software and electronic documentationExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to provide direct, respectful feedbackAbility to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Aerospace manufacturing experienceAS9100 and/or AS9102 experienceExperience as a Quality Inspector, CMM Inspector, DQR, or Metrology TechnicianCMM programming experience (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software)Experience inspecting complex, tight-tolerance machined componentsAssociate degree or technical training in manufacturing, engineering, quality, or related fieldCNC machining or manufacturing support experienceProcess improvement or continuous improvement experience We're Looking For Someone Who Listens and communicates effectivelyBalances direct communication with professionalism and compassionTakes notes and learns quicklyPicks up new processes with easeDoesn't require micromanagementStays productive and engagedSupports a positive team culture If you're passionate about CMM inspection, quality control, precision measurement, GD&T, aerospace manufacturing, metrology, and continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply today.
