CMM Programmer

About the role

The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing and maintaining Computerized Measuring Machine (CMM) programs to ensure accurate measurements of manufactured parts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify CMM programs using specialized software tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to understand part designs and measurement requirements.
• Perform quality checks on CMM measurements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Document procedures and results for future reference and training purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CMM programming or similar manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CMM programming languages such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD/CAM software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of metrology principles and techniques.
• Experience with CNC machines and measuring equipment.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control systems.
