ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate FARO, Scanner and CMM machines and maintain work instructions for the set-up and inspection of parts.
- Collect and analyze inspection data and make computations as necessary to determine inspection results and perform first article inspections.
- Create and maintain programs for CMM and Scanner machines.
- Work with Engineering on any testing, dimensional inspection, and studies that may be required.
- Support and participate in division and department improvement initiatives through Continuous Improvement Suggestion Program, and sharing of knowledge, ideas, and/or best practices with co-workers.
- Actively participate and comply with all division and department policies, procedures and work instructions as they relate to position / department.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education & Training: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Skills/Experience: 2-5+ years of CMM programming experience, Proficient at reading part drawings, Must have knowledge of GD&T, Strong communication skills, written and verbal
