Cmm Operator

3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking an experienced CMM operator/programmer with PC-DMIS experience for 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm). Overtime should be expected.

About the role

To hold a fixture or part to specifications or supplied drawings.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMM with PC-DMIS software.
• Accurately identify product deviations and relay information necessary to correct.
• Generate both first article and final documentation necessary for product submission.
• Perform in-process inspections on various types of manufactured product using hand tools.
• Make adjustments necessary to improve product condition of most manufacturing processes.
• Interpret blueprints at an intermediate to advanced level, including full knowledge of drawing GD&T.
• Set up and operate common CMM Machines.
• Use precision hand tools (micrometer, caliper, height gage).
• Read and interpret engineered drawings.
• Apply basic to medium mathematics skills.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Log job time daily.
• Follow required PPE and all Company and Safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• PC-DMIS software experience required.
• 2+ years of work experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Schedule

2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). Overtime should be expected.
