About the Role
The Clubhouse Concierge plays a key role in creating a first-class daily experience for our players and staff. This position combines clubhouse operations, team travel, player logistics, hospitality, and relationship-building to help create an environment where players can focus on development and performance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-minded, proactive, and comfortable operating in the fast-paced and constantly changing environment of professional baseball. They anticipate needs, solve problems quickly, communicate effectively, and take pride in the details that help a team operate at a high level.
Responsibilities
February through October
Team Travel & Logistics- Coordinate team travel throughout the season, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, itineraries, and other travel-related needs.
- Communicate travel plans and updates clearly and efficiently to players, coaches, and staff.
- Anticipate potential travel challenges and proactively identify solutions to create a smooth experience for the team.
- Coordinate travel for players joining, departing, or moving between affiliates.
- Book flights and other transportation while communicating directly with players and relevant staff to ensure seamless transitions.
- Respond quickly and effectively when roster moves or other last-minute changes occur.
- Help create and maintain a welcoming, energetic, professional, and player-centered clubhouse environment.
- Build positive relationships with players, coaches, and staff while serving as a reliable resource for day-to-day needs.
- Anticipate needs and identify opportunities to continuously improve the player and staff experience.
- Coordinate daily meals and catering for players and staff during home games and other team activities.
- Manage meal schedules, deliveries, vendor communication, and setup to ensure consistent and reliable service.
- Partner with appropriate staff to support the nutritional needs of players.
- Manage daily clubhouse laundry operations to ensure uniforms, apparel, towels, and other items are clean and prepared when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clubhouse environment.
- Assist with clubhouse inventory, supplies, equipment organization, and other operational needs.
- Support special events, camps, and community or organizational initiatives, including programs such as Draft Camp.
- Assist with additional Player Development and Baseball Operations projects as needed.
November through January
Off-Season Projects & Initiatives- Support Player Development, Clubhouse, and Baseball Operations projects throughout the offseason.
- Assist with planning and preparation for the upcoming season, including identifying opportunities to improve clubhouse operations and the player experience.
- Assist with logistics for instructional programs and organizational activities in the Dominican Republic.
- Coordinate travel, accommodations, transportation, and other operational needs for participating players and staff.
- Maintain clubhouse organization throughout the offseason.
- Support inventory management, equipment organization, cleaning, purchasing, and preparation for Spring Training and the upcoming season.
- Participate in instructional camps, development programs, or other organizational events as assigned.
- Provide operational and clubhouse support to help create a high-quality experience for participating players and staff.
