About the role

National Hiring Event: Wednesday, October 7th and Thursday, October 8th, 10 am – 7 pm at Bass Pro Shops, 101 Bass Pro Dr, Broken Arrow, OK 74012. Phone: 918-355-7622. Be prepared to interview for various positions on the spot.

Responsibilities

• Provide world‑class customer service and ensure a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Act as a product expert for the CLUB program: present membership benefits, execute account servicing and CLUB processes from start to finish.
• Acquire and activate new CLUB members.
• Drive CLUB sales.
• Enhance customer experience.
• Provide peer coaching and influence.
• Maintain regulatory compliance.
• Consistently exceed customer expectations and demonstrate commitment to Bass Pro Shops’ & Cabela’s Core Values.
• Proactively greet customers and invite them to become CLUB members or provide current members with exclusive experiences.
• Execute all CLUB operational and compliance programs.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Stay knowledgeable of advertised sales.
• Help meet metric goals and objectives for self and store.
• Maintain accurate CLUB inventory and keep the CLUB booth clean and organized.
• Process payments, answer account questions, and process CLUB applications.
• Provide daily feedback and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Offer peer coaching, recognition, and support as a CLUB advocate.
• Provide service to other store areas as business needs dictate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Physical requirements: ability to stand and/or walk during shifts; hear well for constant communication; perform repetitive motions with wrists/hands/fingers; assess accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work; perform light work lifting/moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly; occasionally ascend/descend ladders, stairs, or step stools; occasionally work in noisy environments.
