CLUB Customer Service Outfitter Seasonal

Position Summary

The CLUB Customer Service Outfitter provides world‑class customer service for guests while presenting the benefits of becoming a CLUB Member. The role includes product expertise, account servicing, acquiring and activating new members, CLUB sales, customer experience, peer coaching, influencing, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions

• Support a strong commitment to world‑class customer service and ensure a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Proactively greet customers and present the opportunity to become a Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s CLUB Member, or provide current members with a unique, exclusive experience.
• Execute all Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s CLUB operational and compliance programs.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales.
• Help meet metric goals and objectives for self and store.
• Maintain accurate CLUB inventory and keep the CLUB booth clean and organized.
• Provide full CLUB Member experience, including processing payments, answering account questions, and processing applications.
• Provide daily feedback and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Offer peer coaching, recognition, and support as a CLUB advocate and representative.
• Serve all areas of the store based on business need.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience / Qualifications

• Minimum degree required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years in a customer‑service environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
• Strong self‑motivation and initiative while unsupervised.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and/or walk during shift to assist customers on the sales floor.
• Hear well enough to constantly communicate with others.
• Repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Assess accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.
• Light work including lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
• Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, step stools, etc.
• Occasionally work in noisy environments.

Independent Judgment

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems, with occasional independent judgment required to complete assignments and often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $17.00 – $19.75 (part‑time).
