About the role

Cooperstown All Star Village is the premier youth baseball tournament destination in Oneonta, NY, delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to athletes, families, coaches, and spectators. Our diverse dining outlets, including high-volume concessions, family-friendly restaurants, casual sports bars, and team-focused dining spaces, combine innovative menus, energetic service, and modern operational tools such as MarginEdge, Square POS, and 7Shifts to drive revenue, maximize efficiency, and elevate guest engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and providing excellent table service throughout their visit
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Delivering food promptly and ensuring accuracy of all orders
• Maintaining cleanliness of dining areas and service stations
• Processing payments and handling POS transactions
• Providing a positive, welcoming experience for all guests

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Team-oriented attitude and strong guest service focus

Preferred Requirements

• Food safety, ServSafe, or relevant hospitality certifications
• Full-time availability with flexibility for peak periods, opening days, and events

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Ability to work long shifts in high-volume settings and meet physical demands (standing 8+ hours, lifting up to 50 lbs., repetitive tasks)
• Routinely exposed to varying weather, dust/particles, and high-volume kitchen conditions
