Job Duties
- Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Houston Country Club.
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high-volume business.
- Anticipates member needs by constantly evaluating member cues.
- Working knowledge of Club policies and guidelines as outlined in the Houston Country Club Employee Handbook.
- Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
- Able to bring the service to our members by constantly moving around the pool, lounge chairs, and tables.
- Responsible for all daily opening, during & closing duties, which include stocking items, filling requisitions, cleaning, and maintaining the overall appearance of the Club Café.
- Always maintains a neat and professional appearance.
- PREREQUISITES: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in related jobs is helpful
- TABC & Food Handler certified
- WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to work for long hours on his/her feet
- Must be able to work in warm, hot, sunny, and humid environments.
- Working conditions are often slippery and wet.
- Contact with mild cleaning solutions.
- SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work a flexible schedule and/or overtime if needed.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays (Labor Day, New Year’s, Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Independence Day, easter, Mother’s Day).
- Must possess strong leadership skills.
- Must work well with others as a team and help co-workers as needed.
- Must treat others with kindness and respect.
