Position Summary
General Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare, stock, refresh, and maintain daily setups for food and beverage service.
- Follow established guidelines for side work, mis-en-place and service preparation.
- Responsible for greeting, seating and servicing Members and their guest's requests for food services in a timely and efficient manner, paying attention to details.
- Maintain the ability to carry both beverage and service trays.
- Knowledgeable with menu items and the ability to provide "on the spot" explanations when requested by Members.
- Efficiently plan orders into the POS system in accordance with established standards.
- Promptly direct all special menu or dietary requests to the Chef.
- Setup, service and break down any and all required service stations, tables, buffets, and restaurant equipment.
- Knowledgeable with wine list offered and present wines ordered in a manner established by the Club.
- Stock and maintain and control bar inventory as directed.
- Order, prepare, service and clear all requested bar beverages according to established services.
- Setup, service and break down all special events, tournaments, and private dinners as instructed, this includes, but not limited to, the movement of Clubhouse and patio furniture.
- Maintain Member tickets and transactions and completing daily closeout as required.
- Aid with new employee instruction.
- Provide lateral support to the locker room, snack bar and kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and outside terrace areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors inside the restaurant and the outside terrace.
- Clean and wipe down counter areas.
- Spring cleaning and opening requirements.
- End of season cleaning and closing requirements.
- Inventory and supply control.
- Trash removal.
- Completes other tasks/duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Food & Beverage service experience.
- Must have extensive guest satisfaction service experience.
- Must have an "on the spot" problem solving attitude.
- Must have proficient knowledge of food service, coffee/espresso machines and bar equipment.
