The Food Service Worker assists with food and meal preparation, maintains records, and supports daily reporting. Key responsibilities include preparing quality food and baked goods according to menus, ensuring proper food storage, serving meals aligned with policies, and supervising food temperatures. They operate and care for kitchen equipment, add garnishments for presentation, and coordinate cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment. Adherence to food safety, sanitation, and uniform policies is essential. The role involves maintaining a clean, organized workspace, sanitizing equipment, and managing waste. Physical tasks may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods, with the use of PPE as needed. Qualifications include a Food Service Certificate (if required), the ability to read, write, follow instructions, and work efficiently under pressure.
