Cloud Systems Administrator

We are working with a dynamic federal contractor delivering innovative technology solutions to government agencies, supporting critical national infrastructure and services. The Role Support cloud infrastructure initiatives, focusing on AWS GovCloud solutions for the Veterans Health Administration Office of Connected Care (VHA OCC). Collaborate with contracted development teams to support deployments, integrations, and implement systems aligning with strategic goals. Contribute to the development and documentation of critical workflow processes, ensuring a focus on security and efficiency. Contribute to the observability, monitoring, and optimization of AWS microservices architecture. Provide integration and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) support across numerous application development project teams. Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance capabilities and boost team efficiency. What You'll Need 10+ years of experience in IT, with a strong understanding of AWS GovCloud and VA Service environments. Minimum of 5 years experience in cloud architecture and solution implementation. Experience with quality assurance processes for CI/CD pipelines and AWS. Strong understanding of microservices/container architectures using Kubernetes. Functional skills with Infrastructure as Code & Automation (e.g., Jenkins), Containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), Observability & Monitoring (e.g., AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk).
