About the role

Serve as a Cloud Systems Administrator supporting our National Security Mission. You will oversee and provide system administration, integration, maintenance and customer support on the customer’s Enterprise Development, Test, and Production systems. This position has a special emphasis on Amazon Web Services (AWS), OpenText, PeopleSoft, and Corporate Business systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based applications running on Windows and Linux operating systems and leveraging cloud services such as EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and RDS.
• Provision stable AMIs, perform software installations, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Manage and administer the OpenText suite of applications.
• Perform upgrades, optimize configurations, realizing efficiencies where possible.
• Manage and oversee day-to-day pay, benefits, time and labor, and job announcement file transfers and batch processes.
• Resolve a wide range of complex system failures - from application and PKI to security and PeopleSoft batch processes - addressing incident tickets in accordance with established procedures and Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs).
• Automate critical production processes through a variety of industry standard methods – cloud services, application, operating system, and scripting.
