Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems.
- Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
- Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- Provides specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS, and requirements analysis and synthesis.
- Provides Help Desk Support; ticket handling/resolution, utilizing JIRA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience OR associate’s degree with 15 years of relevant experience OR high school diploma with 20 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
- Proficiency with React and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with Git/Gitlab; some knowledge and experience with CI/CD.
- Experience with Helm, Kubectl, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Docker.
- Prior experience with Flux (FluxCD), OAuth2 Proxy, Jira, and Confluence preferred.
Qualifications
- Current active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Physical requirements: able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk; remain in a stationary position 50% of the time; communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
