About the Opportunity

The CloudOps Engineer role is responsible for building, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure platform reliability and scalability. This position collaborates with Engineering and Product teams to automate cloud operations, improve system performance, and maintain secure production environments. The role directly impacts platform performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and performance
• Automate cloud deployments, infrastructure management, and operational workflows
• Monitor production environments and enhance system uptime and alerting
• Implement cloud security best practices to support compliant infrastructure
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve cloud-related incidents within SLAs
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to improve cloud architecture and operations
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies to enhance performance and scalability

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure engineering, or related roles
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Experience in cloud monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization
• Strong troubleshooting skills for production systems
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and scripting for automation
• Effective communication skills and ability to work remotely
• PREFERRED: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, experience with serverless architectures and SaaS applications, cloud platform certifications such as AWS

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000–$130,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
