Cloud & Infrastructure Technical Expert

About the role

This role focuses on technical assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and configuration reviews. The candidate should have experience with tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and cloud security platforms. They must be able to interpret logs, conduct forensic analysis, and support incident response.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and configuration reviews.
• Support incident response and forensic analysis.
• Interpret logs and provide insights into security incidents.
• Manage and maintain security configurations across hybrid environments.
• Validate ransomware recovery and perform forensic log analysis.
• Work closely with clients to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of hands-on technical experience in cybersecurity roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 Security (SharePoint and Teams) and Azure Security Centre or Defender for Cloud.
• Experience in ransomware recovery validation and forensic log analysis using SIEM or Sentinel.
• Must have OSCP/SC-100/CEH certifications.
• Expert in Microsoft Hybrid products.
• Preferred certifications include OSCP, SC-100, and CEH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or engineering is required.
• A Master’s degree or specialised postgraduate diploma in Cybersecurity or Ethical Hacking is a plus, but not mandatory.

Skills

• Expertise in Microsoft 365 Security (SharePoint and Teams) and Azure Security Centre or Defender for Cloud.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and cloud security platforms.
• Ability to interpret logs and conduct forensic analysis.
• Knowledge of ransomware recovery validation and forensic log analysis.
