Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer, Mid
About the role
Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a Cloud computing infrastructure architect, you know how to take advantage of Cloud capabilities. On our team of experienced professionals, you’ll use cutting-edge enterprise Cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their information technology (IT) infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help modernize Army systems.
Responsibilities
- Closely collaborate with fellow Cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to support, deploy, and optimize Cloud solution components.
- Work within a DevOps framework to manage and deploy container applications.
- Use products like Kubernetes to further the mission.
- Explore different ways of solving clients’ problems using internal AWS labs.
- Partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions.
- Modernize legacy computing platforms and applications or create new ones from scratch.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting operations and maintenance for secure DoD information management systems.
- Experience with Linux Operating Systems and command-line interfaces.
- Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Ansible, or YAML.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with the Windows Operating System and Active Directory.
- Top Secret clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date.
Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (Nice to have).
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Docker (Nice to have).
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence (Nice to have).
- Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies (Nice to have).
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering concepts (Nice to have).

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
