Cloud Infrastructure Support

About the role

A Senior Cloud Infrastructure / SRE Engineer focused on Azure and hybrid environments, responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
• Automate configuration management with Ansible.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems.
• Support enterprise applications and infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
• Manage and optimize Azure services including VMSS, App Gateway, Load Balancers, Key Vault, Storage, Networking, and Monitoring.
• Lead cloud transformation and migration initiatives from on-premises to Azure.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to support business-critical production systems.
• Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and restore services.
• Support Java/J2EE applications and middleware platforms in production.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Shell.
• Design and manage containerized environments with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure AKS.
• Implement observability, monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, or Azure Monitor.
• Enforce security best practices using Azure security services, RBAC, Managed Identities, Service Principals, and Key Vault.
• Design and maintain high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and resiliency architectures.
• Adhere to release management, change management, and ITIL service management processes.
• Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, application, and network layers.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with Layer 4 and Layer 7 networking concepts, load balancing, DNS, SSL/TLS, and firewall technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
