About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based systems in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), adhering to strict security, performance, availability, and cost management guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based systems in GCP
- Implement, automate, and administer GCP cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Python, PowerShell, GKE, and other tools
- Optimize resources and conduct log analysis for system monitoring
- Diagnose and troubleshoot incidents related to cloud infrastructure
- Use GCP Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy for continuous integration and delivery
- Administer GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC/XPN, Cloud SQL, Redis, Secret Manager, CDN, load balancing, Cloud Armor, Logging, Monitoring, Alerting, and Pub/Sub
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub
- Utilize Prisma Cloud and Tenable for security assessments and compliance
Requirements
- 84 months of experience in GCP cloud engineering
- 36 months of experience with CI/CD pipeline technologies
- 24 months of experience with security tools like Prisma Cloud and Tenable
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Professional certifications in cloud engineering and cybersecurity are preferred
- Proficiency in GCP services and APIs
- Experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline technologies and GitHub
- Understanding of security best practices and tools
